The inspiration for "The Purple Wishing Gate" is my daughter, Bonnie Rose, who died of cancer at the innocent age of 12. This disease may have taken her life on earth, but it could not take away her courage, her joy, her passion for living, and her inner strength and peace. These, she insisted, were "gifts from God" in return for her accepting her situation, and trusting that He had the best plan for her... whatever the outcome.

She proved her point, that if you spend you time "wishing" that your circumstances were not what they are, you would not only be wasting precious time focusing on the problem, but you would miss all the little miracles that God sends to you every day. She believed that these little treasures were glimpses of life in heaven, so she "chose" to make the best of each day, while looking forward with excitement and hope. She never looked back on what was or could have been.

It was Bonnie's desire and now my prayer, that by sharing her real-life story of incredible faith, hope & wisdom beyond her years, I can point people to God for what they need. And while she was grateful & confident that many were working hard to find a cure, she was more concerned about helping people to find strength, joy and peace while they waited. Through this series, I hope to both honor my daughter's wishes & encourage other's in their fight with illness or personal struggles, by donating 10% of all proceeds from my website to this cause.  In addition... I offer up to 30% of my sales to Churches, Schools & other organizations, who use my site to RAISE FUNDS  for their own needs!
